Insureonboard is proud to be part of the award-winning Medibroker group. Medibroker was founded in 1998 by Mr. J. Leslie Smith. Owned and operated by a family of former expatriates, we are proud to address the needs of individuals and crews both working and residing outside their home countries. Our team consists of over twenty hard working and dedicated staff members, based in our offices in Whitley Bay in the north east of England. This gives Insureonboard customers the ability to have virtual access to medical insurance twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Our Whitley Bay office is located close to the River Tyne, which has a maritime heritage stretching back for hundreds of years, and which saw the building and launching of such world-renowned ships as the Mauritania and the battleship HMS King George V, as well as the current Royal Navy aircraft carriers HMS Ark Royal and HMS Illustrious.
Insureonboard abides by one motto, "we are the consultant to the client, not the salesman for the insurer". This is not only our motto; it is our commitment to you. As a team, our goal is to empower our clients, to help them gain back control of their personal healthcare. With today's influx of insurers and corporate ownership of medical facilities, it has become imperative to change our ways of thinking and protect our interests vis a vis our healthcare. Our founder and CEO, Leslie Smith has become a trendsetter in the field of international healthcare. While he strongly encourages the use of Internet technology to create transparency in our service, he has sidestepped competitors with his insistence to provide human "good ol' fashion service" to our clients. We believe that knowledge and communication are imperative in our business as medical insurance should not be purchased impulsively. Insureonboard refuses to "quick quote" clients online and discourages a client from an impulse buy of the first and cheapest product, encouraging a comparative review of benefits and premium costs. Our team is thoroughly trained to open up the market for you, to show you what is available and finally help your compare the benefits of each plan. Our years of experience allow us to know what is important when selecting a health plan whether it is for an individual or for an entire crew, and we have chosen to walk that extra mile for your benefit.
